ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL |
|
1. In KLE Society’s’ a) As Vice-Principal,
responsible for administration, Government correspondence and Development of
the College. I was an active lead member in ISO and NBA accreditation at the
college. b) Dean, Research and
Development, Mechanical Engineering Sciences, KLE-CET, c) I was the chairman
of Gymkhana Committee for the year 2003 –04. During this year KLECET Belgaum
was awarded Rs. 1.00 Lakh
incentives for outstanding performance in Sports and cultural activities. d) As secretary of the
local chapter of ISTE (1994-1998), I have been actively involved in
organizing two ISTE summer schools, two National Workshops, many invited
talks, Lectures, Carrier guidance programs and starting of ISTE student
chapter. e) I have guided nine
postgraduate thesis and 12 projects at the under-graduate level. During 1993,
a guided project won the outstanding project of KSCST. f) A lead member in
forming the syllabus of M. E.(Design engineering)
course and its successful conduct. This course is well appreciated and sought
after. g) Planned the
development of CAD/CAM laboratory worth 15 lakhs
and a member of the team for AICTE funded project worth 18 lakhs on fuzzy logic. Planned the up gradation of
mechanical engineering laboratories. h) I have taught
Mechanical Vibrations, Control Engineering, Theory of Machines at the
undergraduate level and Finite Element Method, Control Engineering, Computer
Graphics, Reliability Engineering at for post graduate students in design
engineering. i) I was instrumental
in framing the syllabus for Bio-Medical Engineering and starting of the
Bio-Medical Engineering as a unique course in K.L.E.C.E.T. affiliated to 2. Special Officer V T
U Belgaum: I had the experience of framing the ordinances of various courses and coordinating the framing of under
graduate and post graduate
syllabus of VTU, 3.
