Library

It is centrally located in the campus, housed in independent building having a plinth area of 1700 Sq Mts, having total seating capacity of 350 students at a time. The Library has over 75,000 volumes which is updated regularly by way of adding new literature in the form of text books, reference books, reports, proceedings, abstracts & indexes, encyclopedias, data books, standards (National & International) Journals, Audio Visual resources, CDs, educational videos and thesis/reports.

The Library is headed by Mr. Satish Totar.

Library is automated by using EASYLIB-Library management software.  It is a multi-user package for effective management of a library from all aspects. Online catalogue of the library and the e-resources can be accessed on the campus network.

The library subscribes to nearly 200 Technical Periodicals of which about 95 are International; it has also a collection of nearly 3000 Back Volumes of Periodicals

Online catalogue facility is available to users through intranet. By clicking this link (http://libserver/EPAC/MainPage.aspx) search page is opened for search a Library resources.

In addition to this every department has a separate library provided to student, staff & faculty members for updating their knowledge and supporting the research, teaching and learning activities. The Library functions from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and during examination time it will open till 04:00 AM.

The library is a member of the INDEST-AICTE Consortium for accessing e-journals subscribed through the consortium and also the library is a member of the DELNET, for exchange of books, journals articles for the mutual benefit of the users.

Special Facilities :

1. Air-conditioned Digital Library facility is available for accessing the online resources of the library.

2. The library offers online catalogue facility to the users through intranet for search of Library resources.

3. Old Question Paper Bank facility is available for the reference use.

4. Audio-visual and multimedia facility is available to its users. One section specially designed meant for accessing Reference Databases, CD’s with books, CD’s with magazines etc. A rich collection of CD’s, Audio, Video cassettes, floppies etc. is arranged subject wise which can be found very easily.

5. The Library provides a sufficient and separate room for reading purpose to the faculty members.

6. Government Scheme Book Bank Facility is available for the SC/ST students.

7. Photo Copying, Spiral Binding, Lamination etc facilities are available.
